Directions from Lincroft

Your First Visit

During your first appointment, we’ll have an informal conversation. Your clinician will inquire about your symptoms, background, and your goals for improvement. You will create a plan together.

It could involve medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or a combination of these. Don’t worry, we won’t make any decisions without your input.

Important Safety Information About Your Care

Psychiatric medicines can have side effects. They may take days or even weeks to start working. Before you start a prescription, your provider will talk about the risks. They will also go over other options. Finally, they will explain how follow-up will work. Do not stop a medicine on your own, as doing so can make you feel unwell. Talk to your prescriber first.

We only offer outpatient care and don’t handle emergencies or hospital treatments. For cosmetic services like laser therapy and sclerotherapy, we explain the procedure first. Then, we discuss the risks. This helps you make an informed choice.

Pricing and Insurance

Our pricing page lists fees and payment options. We take selected insurance plans for psychiatric visits, including Medicare, BCBS, and Aetna. Ask us whether your plan also covers video appointments. A quick call to our front desk will clear up your coverage before you come in.
